Organiser terms
These terms are between Logos Technologies LLC ("Badia") and the club, accepted by the person who runs the club in Badia (its admin) on the club's behalf. They sit on top of the Terms of Use, which every member accepts too.
1. The club organises; Badia is the tool
- The club — not Badia — organises its drives, trips, trainings and events: when and where, the route, who may come, the levels, the marshals, the briefing, the convoy and any recovery.
- The club is responsible for running them safely and lawfully, and for the decisions its admins and marshals make.
- Badia provides software: posting drives, sign-ups, rosters, the convoy map, SOS, alerts, maps. It doesn't organise, supervise, insure or approve any drive.
2. Law, permits and licences
- The club follows UAE federal and emirate law, police and authority instructions, and the rules of any land it drives on.
- If an activity needs a licence, permit or approval — for example a commercial activity, a paid event, an event on public land, or a sports event — the club gets it before the activity, and keeps it valid.
- A club that isn't registered runs as a private group of members. It doesn't charge for drives or collect money from the public without the licence that requires.
- Licence details the club gives Badia are true. Badia shows a club as "Registered" only after checking them; tell us if they change or lapse.
3. Members, rules and waivers
- The club sets its own rules and, if it wants, a drive waiver. Badia shows them and records who accepted, but the wording and its effect are the club's. Have it reviewed by your own lawyer.
- The club decides who joins, their levels and roles, and removes people who put others at risk.
- Marshals' level sign-offs are the club's judgement, not Badia's.
4. Safety basics the club owns
- A briefing before each drive; a lead and a sweep; checks that cars carry the recovery gear the drive needs (Badia shows what members listed — it doesn't inspect cars).
- A plan for emergencies that doesn't depend on mobile signal or on Badia: radios, and calling 999 / 998.
- The club decides whether its drives need insurance cover, and arranges it.
5. Data
- Admins and marshals see members' details to run the club — roster, rides, levels, attendance and, during an open SOS, medical cards. Use them only for running the club and its safety, never for anything else, and never share them outside it.
- The Privacy policy applies to everything the club sees in Badia.
6. Liability
- To the fullest extent UAE law allows, Badia is not liable for anything that happens on or because of a club's activities.
- If a claim is brought against Badia because of a club's activities, or because the club broke these terms or the law, the club covers Badia's reasonable costs of it.
- Nothing here excludes liability that UAE law doesn't allow to be excluded.
7. Ending
- Badia may suspend or remove a club that breaks these terms or puts people at risk.
- If these terms change in a way that matters, the club's admin is asked to accept the new version in the app.
8. Law
Governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai; the courts of Dubai decide any dispute.
